Alex Ferguson spent time as manager of Aberdeen. St Mirren & the Scotland National side before arriving at Manchester United in 1986. Ferguson would go on to spend 17 years at the club becoming one of the most successful managers of all time, notably winning 13 Premier League titles, 5 FA Cups, 4 League Cups and 2 Champions League’s during his time at the club. Ferguson announced his retirement at the end of the 2013 season, going out in winning ways by winning the Premier League with a 11 point margin of local rivals Manchester City.
